You’re tops in your field. You’ve met a multitude of people over the course of your career and they’d speak to your value if only you could put your finger on them. Have you kept in touch? Been available and willing when your knowledge or services have been needed? [...] I can’t express the importance of organization with your job search. Finding a job is a full-time job and if you don’t manage the process methodically, critical details may inadvertently slip through the cracks. Keep a list of target companies and important details of each. I would be curious to know if you have worked with recruiters at some point in your career and had a phenomenal experience? On the flip side – have you had an experience that leads you to believe recruiters aren’t worth the time of day (much less - something stuck to the bottom of your shoe)? I have run [...] Let’s face it – not all of us are in the profession of outside sales. When it comes to interviewing – it is ALL about selling yourself.
